“I have watched BTVS more times than I can count. I watched it when it first came out, as a teenager, I’ve watched it a bunch as a young adult and even now in my mid 30s, I still watch it. It’s one of those shows I can put on whenever I want to zone out, so I’m very familiar with it and have a lot of emotions tied to it… which also makes me incredibly biased! I have a very liberal suspension of disbelief when it comes to Buffy. I stumbled on this podcast and I have really enjoyed listening to not only first time watchers, but adult men commenting on all the silly things that I choose to ignore. It’s kind of like I’ve found a new way to watch Buffy, to realize (and acknowledge) some of just the crazy plot armor tactics and logistical improbabilities; it’s cool to hear a brand new perspective. Also, as someone who knows what’s going to happen, I’m so excited for the Boys and when they discover an answer to their question, prediction or theory! Id definitely suggest this podcast to anyone who loves Buffy. Also, with their Discord discussion, it’s really cool to interact with other fans, and you can definitely tell the Boys LIKE THE SHOW!! :)”
