The host was clearly a mean girl
- There’s a lot of “I’m not blaming the victim, but…” - There’s a lot of meanness and a lack of empathy, like saying “gross bunions” instead of saying, “painfully crippling bunions.” It’s just a small example of how superficial and narcissistic the host is. - She’s overly obsessed with the “beauty” of some of the victims. - She struggles pronouncing “big” words, and has an annoying over-reliance on filler words like “literally,” and “super.” - Her voice is grating; her inflections make everything sensationalized and she uptalks at the end of every sentence.

More reviews of Serialously with Annie Elise
I’ve learned to love me some Annie from watching her YouTube channel “10 to Life”. She is always well prepared and thorough on her subject matter. Plus, she gets a little feisty sometimes, which I enjoy. Good luck, Annie! I’ll be listening! - Jason in Georgia

Found you in TikTok then on YouTube and saw the little Apple podcast thing. I listen to podcasts while I’m working and while I do wish the episodes were longer, I love that I get the whole store in a quick bite!
