There are better classic literature podcasts
I feel this podcast deserves two stars: One for effort and one for ambition. The producer has taken on a massive project intending to read thousands of stories. For over five years, he has been doing so under many podcast titles, all beginning with "1001…." Ambitious. He is persistent in his pursuit. Each podcast has a huge variety of stories, and they come out regularly. Great effort. Yet, I must deduct stars for execution: One for poor planning and research, another for production. Finally, I must deduct one star for performance. Let's start with the last: One of the most important aspects of audio narration is the performance. This narrator is not a very good actor. He struggles with even the slightest accent. His delivery is monotonous and lifeless. And, to be bluntly honest, he doesn't have a great voice.
