Very good
Tried to post this earlier but failed. Excellent podcast, being interesting, varied and satisfying... I personally don't find the presenter's voice annoying (as some other posters do). The only comment would be on the mispronunciation of a favourite author of mine (Gremlin's episode, it is Roald Dahl, not Ronald Dale). A bit too American for me. The presenter reads a rather rambling narration with some very strange pronunciations. He has no idea how to pronounce French words at all and it took me a long time to work out that when he was talking about myrrh, he meant mirror. I love that you can hear the storyteller’s passion and excitement (not to mention true love for history) in each and every podcast. Fun for folks whose minds love history, trivia, and the trivia behind trivia. :)

I have just started binge listening to this podcast and I'm only on the third episode but I'm already dreading coming to the end. These are great stories. Short, to the point and yet very interesting. No bells and whistles to distract from the stories that need no embellishments.Read full review »
