Thoughtful, but staunchly neoliberal
I appreciate the tone of this podcast, thoughtful and measured, but these folks use distinctly neoliberal frames. They take as inevitable the way things are, with little interrogation as to how or why they are that way. That leads to a cynical evaluation of progressive political goals. The most frustrating aspect of listening to this podcast is hearing the liberals characterized as progressive. Clearly, I am biased, but I do value the access to discussions and arguments framed outside my echo-chamber.

Refreshing return to ethical, neutral journalism in Canada without the “progressive” ideological bias pervasive with state media.

They cover some interesting topics in a fair way, but definitely have a lean to the right, some subjects more than others.
