Magnificent dedication
Believe it or not this is my first foray into the world of podcasts and surely I couldn’t have chosen better! My fascination into the astonishing achievements of the brave space pioneers in the 1960’s was reignited last year after watching the equally magnificent TV documentary ‘Chasing the Moon’. It’s evident this superbly put together podcast was a true labour of love. The interviews with some of the individuals that played their part in the hugely ambitious and historic Apollo program give a fabulous insight into the challenges and emotions felt at the time. For someone born after the magnificent human achievement of the first moon landings, this podcast has well and truly succeeded in transporting me back there. A chance to relive history, and I was gripped throughout. Perfect lockdown listening. Music by Hans Zimmer too. What is there not to like!? I feel my journey into the podcast universe can only go downhill from here on.. Thank you

A lovely BBC world service podcast concentrating on the Apollo 11 final moments before touching down on the moon, tracing all the people involved and equipment/ technology involved as well. Presented by Kevin Fong who does an excellent job. Top class podcast!
