Great but still figuring it out
I would probably give this 5 stars but for two things. First, I think there’s a system that I haven’t figured out. Maybe I will after a while but by the second class, I had to stop and recheck the poses. Clearly I need to use the provided charts. Anyway, I practiced yoga for many years and feel like I know most of the poses but have been out of it for a while so need a refresher. The classes move very quickly though so if I miss a pose, we’re off to the next one before I can get it right. I’m used to a slower style where you hold the position for a while. The speed isn’t a criticism though. It’s just different than what I’m used to. Anyway, as I said, I’ve been out of yoga for a while and want to get back. I am loving these classes. For me, 20 minutes is a good length because I don’t think I can last a 90 minute class at this point. As I said, I am still trying to figure this system out because lesson 2 seemed to be pretty advanced compared to 1. Maybe it’s just because I am so out of shape at the moment. And I assume that students combine these classes to get longer practices. So slight confusion on my part about how to follow along and the speed. Neither are really criticisms of what is really a great podcast. It is challenging and the provided pose charts are invaluable. I am looking forward to getting into this more and enjoying it for a long time. Thanks!

The instruction is concise and easy to follow, and troubleshoots common mistakes. When I travel I put workouts on my iPod and can do yoga anywhere I go. They offer great variety (power, meditative, sun salutation focus, etc.) and the pose guides are really helpful. Please keep this podcast...Read full review »

Yogadownload has taught me more about yoga poses and techniques than any class I have taken in person. The instructions are clear and the pose guides help with any poses I am not familiar with. The 20 minute Yoga for Cyclists has become my favorite way to finish up at the gym after any cardio...Read full review »
