“Who in hell is responsible for the hideous background music(?) soundtrack? It’s like a bunch of meth heads let loose in a recording studio. It’s a shame as there are some interesting cases in this series and it’s always good to hear from the relevant law enforcement, witnesses and family members, but the ridiculous sound effects accompanying these episodes are highly irritating and distracting. Really! Please credit your audience with more intelligence than the presumption that we need some sort of “chilling mood music(?)” to understand the gravity of what’s going on. Reminiscent of some below par B Grade horror flicks. Otherwise, this would make for an excellent podcast. Unfortunately, as this same issue has been raised by many other reviewers, the producers either don’t bother reading feedback or simply don’t care enough to fix it.”

“Love listening to these stories, but, most times, I find the overly obnoxious and loud background music to be totally distracting and unnecessary. It takes away from the point of the stories. Take a lesson from Dateline PLEASE!!!”
