Our guest is this week is Cathy Loerzel received her MA in Counseling Psychology in 2007 is the Co-Founder of The Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and co-author of Redeeming Heartache: How Past Suffering Reveals Your True Calling. She has spent the last 15 years developing the theory and methodology of a popular new coaching and therapeutic approach called Story Work that moves people through their past stories of heartache to heal and discover healthier ways of being in the world.
She is a story work coach, popular speaker, writer and consultant based out of Seattle, WA where she lives with her husband, 2 little boys, 2 big dogs and 7 chickens on their urban farm.
I couldn’t think of a more appropriate person to kick off this season about transitions in life than Cathy!

As a TV Beauty Expert, Jessica has been regularly featured on national TV segments on shows including ABC’s FABLife and The Dr. Oz Show. She was the Key Hair and Makeup Artist for Praise and Better Together for the Trinity Broadcast Network for 5 years and has worked on set of The Talk, Steve Harvey, Wendy Williams, and America’s Next Top Model.
Jessica is wildly in love with her husband, Vincent Shakir, and she’s also passionate about encouraging single women to wait well by honoring God with a flourishing life! Vincent and Jessica just moved from Southern California to Sweet Home Alabama to build a home and open a restaurant, Bistro 17, in downtown Tuscaloosa!
Above all, Jessica delights in her relationship with Jesus, she finds joy in living a beautiful life, and desires to raise up an army of God’s daughters who are spiritually equipped and ready to lead and love others well!

Restoration in Unknown Seasons- Guest Jamie Heard
I had the pleasure of interviewing Jamie Heard this week! Her story will encourage you that restoration can happen even in the unknown.
Jamie Heard is co-founder and executive director of Faithfully Restored, a nonprofit that serves women who are walking through difficult situations. After experiencing the loss of her son, William, in December of 2015, God surrounded her family with a community of people who served as His hands and feet. She saw the goodness of God and His faithfulness in the midst of heartache and devastating loss. Because of this, Jamie has made it her life's mission to help women going through hard times. Her goal is to let women know that regardless of their current situation, they are not alone, and there is hope found in Jesus. Jamie and her husband, Daniel, live in Brentwood, TN, with their two girls, Madeline and Annie. Listening to this Podcast makes me burst into laughter and cry - sometimes all in the same 30 minutes Podcast!
I look forward to having a sliver of time to myself to catch up on the podcast and encourage me as a women, mom, wife and believer.
After listening to these Rhonda and Phylis and their guests I start or end the day feeling as if I met up with them physically and feel so uplifted!
