Excellent show, but I do wish for a little change
Thank you for producing such an excellent show. I’ve listened to every episode and have learned many new things. I’m a professional podcaster for my full time work, so I know how hard it can be to stay on a production schedule and keep producing high-level content. I know it’s exhausting, so THANK YOU for your hard work. I’m a better student of the Bible because of what you’ve shared. I’m a Mormon so my view on some of the things in the show is slightly different. The biggest thing to me is that the hosts don’t seem to give the same level of respect to the Lord’s chosen people. It seems that a significant portion of each show is taken up by synical judgments of the Lord’s ancient prophets and leaders—Abraham and Jacob being two popular targets. By today’s culture, standards, and norms, the Lord’s ancients made a lot of mistakes. But they WERE the Lord’s anointed. He chose them for a reason, and I belive they deserve a little more respect and deference than they are given on the show. THANK YOU again for all your hard work. It’s a 5 star show. Keep releasing great content, and when you’re ready to release 40 minutes in the New Testament… I’m your first listener and biggest fan. Thank you!

With hosts from the Christ Hold Fast crew joined up with Chad Bird, they dig into the Old Testament starting from the beginning, and show how it all...Read full review »

This podcast is great for insight, explanation and helpful perspective as you read through the OT which helps to ensure you glean as much as you can out of God’s Word. And it is interesting. Chad and Dan compliment each other well making this a great “deep dive” into bite-size studies through...Read full review »
