Padded out beyond belief
Someone should do a six part podcast series investigating how two comedians managed to stretch out what is a funny little anecdote into an incredibly repetitive 3 hr plus series. It’s a shame because they’re both funny and good rapore, but they’ve got way too greedy for extra ad revenue here, meaning they’ve had to pad out the story to a ludicrous degree. There’s a very funny moment towards the end where Josh complains about articles on The Athletic having a thousand words of colour at the start… this is after they had what felt like 10 minutes on Roger Milla in the opening episode because he was also an African footballer. That said, it passed the time, just unfortunately too much of it.
