Nonstop Tragedy
These segments are apparently re-tellings or replays of pieces that aired on 60 Minutes Australia. They’re each sick and utterly bleak, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t listen to each episode until the very end. Still, there’s something very exploitative about them, and in a couple segments the reporters sound practically giddy — like they know all the bloodshed and sliminess makes for great TV. Maybe it does, and maybe we’re all complicit for consuming other peoples’ tragedies for our entertainment.

Great stories!

Listened to the beginning of the Samantha Knight podcast and stopped at 5 mins because of the voice. It sounded like a parent talking to a child. Casefile is much better. If they change the story telling to more “just the facts style” it will be better.
