Max Linsky the Psychologist
What a wasted opportunity. Continuously asks guests variations of the same question which resembles something like "How did that make you feel?" His interview of Dolores Huerta is a prime example. He asked her half a dozen times of how she "found her power". Enough! Move on! She has led such an interesting life and Linsky barely touched on any of the history or context of the events surrounding her life. Just relentless psychoanalysis. Same type of questions with Dan Rather and Dionne Warwick and a number of other guests. He has a knack for asking to the most uninteresting questions over and over in different ways. I have also been listening to him for years on Longform, which is a bit better, but he exhibits the same pattern of the types of mundane personal questions of his guests about how they felt about this or that. What a beautiful 1st episode. Thank you Max, for allowing me to be a fly on the wall of your earnest and hopeful conversation. Sister Helen has inspired me to strive for hope not optimism and to pick up a rope and start pulling. Thank You
