Used to be my favorite wrestling podcast. Now it’s :30 of the carnivore diet. :20 complaining about Dave Meltzer. :15 complaining about Tony Kahn. Please get back to wrestling. That’s what most of us came here for. I understand that it’s your podcast so you talk about what you want. It’s just...Read full review »

Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson are two of the most arrogant people that I’ve ever walked in shoes. They both think they walk on water. They think they are beyond special. If you’re a hard-core WCW fan, this podcast is interesting. Otherwise it’s to douche bags jerking each other off.

Conrad has gotten beyond annoying. Love the episodes where he is not on the show now. Eric has great insight and the only reason I listen to the show. Conrad you’ve never worked in wrestling you just talk about it with important people. Remember that

This podcast doesn’t just give insight on storylines that were told but also the business function as to why some characters, and storylines were even made. Love this podcast, and loved it since day 1

This has become one of my favorite wrestling podcasts. The topics are pretty good with Dungeon of Doom by far being my favorite. But mainly, I like the host and Eric’s performance. It’s great to see Eric looking back objectively at some of these goofy ideas and just acknowledging how ridiculous...Read full review »

Paul is “channel changer jones” for me. I’ve already unsubscribed from the Kurt Angle Show and the Arn Show because of how often he hosts. Whether Conrad likes it or not he is just as much the reason I listen as the boys are.

There is a lot of info that most wouldn’t understand about the wrestling and TV before they listened to this. Puts the Monday Night Wars into perspective. The best reason to listen to this is to hear Eric embarrass dirt sheet writers like Dave Meltzer.

When I first got into this podcast my fandom was hitting the back burner. This podcast revitalized my fandom. Reliving these events as an adult has been an amazing nostalgia trip. Being 5-11 years old during the start of Nitro and the end of WCW and now have a different perspective on the...Read full review »

Even though Eric begged us for a 5 star I gave it because it deserves it. One of my favorite podcasts.

Eric’s great. Love his stories and takes. However, a podcast with more adverts I have not come across. It’s relentless!!! Even in the show descriptions it’s all adverts. I’m sure on the Patreon these shows would only be 36 minutes long

Anytime Eric is talking he lying AWA gave him his start he was a cheap salesman they used him cause they needed someone fast Ever since then he back stabs lies to the people the helped. Great listening to all Conrad’s podcasts and Eric I love your honesty

Cluster the ads. This is not a podcast you can just hit play and listen to. You really need to be ready to hit that 30 second skip button a few times every 10-15 minutes. It’s beginning to really ruin the listening experience.

What’s worse? Eric bashing Meltzer or JR crying about his critics? This is a much more pleasant show to listen to than “Grilling JR,” but the Eric’s tirades against Meltzer prevent this from being 5 stars. They get old real quickly. As usual, Conrad is fantastic and Eric is still incredibly...Read full review »

I tried giving this a listen but I found too many of the episodes turn into rants against Dave Meltzer. Not saying he reports facts, but I think we get it after a few rants. I wanted more insight into the business but I also don’t want to sit through a rant, or have to skip around multiple times...Read full review »

Listening to Eric talk it’s clear he is the reason WCW failed. Complete lack of wrestling knowledge and understanding. WCW would be here today if he didn’t get lucky as hell getting a job he had zero ability to do.

the Khan thing was such a paid promo spot it was unlistenable after 5 mins. i would rather listen to vince russo say bro for 3 hours straight then listen to this podcast again. that is the worst podcast episode i’ve ever heard.

I’ve been listening since the first episode. The actual discussion portion of the podcast is great. But recently the ads are getting ridiculous. Not only are there too many ads but they are also way too long.

This was my first time listening to this podcast. The show topic was great, the insights and thoughts were really enjoyable to listen to, but there were WAY too many ads. I could probably get by it if they were 30 seconds long or so, but they were more like 3-5 minutes each. It was awful. I would...Read full review »

Great show but the constant plugs every 10 minutes gets a bit annoying, seems like there’s at least 10 per show. Other than that really enjoy the show

I used to watch pro wrestling back when I was a kid and fell off the wagon. I loved the Eric Bischoff DVD set WWE did and I feel like this podcast is an indirect extension of that. Really good stuff. By the way I doubt Eric lies on the podcast. The mid to late 90’s WCW was one of the fondest memories I have of that time period. Despite the downfall of WCW, Eric Bischoff directed an unmatched era of pro wrestling. Reliving this age through the eyes of Eric is a great adventure along with Conrad guiding the conversation into the topics...Read full review »

I’m a huge fan of the Conrad Thompson “stable” of podcasts. However, this is the superior programme of the lot. I always preferred WCW over the WWF, and this show is the perfect insight into their business. Bischoff is a great talker, and rightfully defends his product and ideas when required,...Read full review »

Eric like he did in his old podcast that was abandoned, continues to get into the weeds about “i do not recall” and his hate of Dave and all dirt sheets. However, this is a common theme of all of Conrad’s show hosts. Conrad to his credit is the reason I bought the observer and he continues to use...Read full review »

Conrad like all his podcasts is great as the co-host. I like Eric because unlike a Vince Russo, he’s honest with what worked in WCW and what didn’t. His memory may not be perfect, such as the Bret Hart situation in ‘96, but most of the time, he is able to separate rumor and innuendo from the facts,

This podcast is incredible. A brilliant listen about all things WCW during the Monday night wars. Conrad is brilliant and Eric’s stories behind everything that went on are terrific. A must for any wrestling fan but especially those that loved and or grew up in the Monday night wars.

Mabel was the 3rd Man! NWO woulda been even better if that did end up happening. Mabel at least won a prestigious King of the Ring...Hogan never accomplished that! LOVE LOVE LOVE the Show. Gotta tell you I'm jealous of Conrad Thompson.
