Midori Hirano aka MimiCof is a Berlin-based musician, composer and producer. Her compelling fractal productions have been released by labels including Sonic Pieces, Daisart, Alien Transistor, Longform Editions, Dauw and Karlrecords. This weekend, we are honoured to share a mix from Midori of highly intuitive abstract music and some minimal electronic music. In the second half, FPDJ Simon delves into nocturnes. -

This weekend on FPR, we air a takeover from Naarm-based angels Tyler and Bel.
Tyler and Bel are visual artists and selectors with an unboundaried approach to sound and era. They both have shows on Mouthfull - Tyler hosts the weekly broadcast Semi-Precious, whereas Bel hosts an infrequent show titled Some Times. On Episode 306, they share two mixes - the first explores music recorded in Denmark and Sweden between 1969 - 2022; the second captures music for dance and theatre. -

Baby Kiko is a London based deejay hailing from the south coast of Te Whanganui-a-Tara. In the first half, they share a musical journey from sunset to moonrise, replete with outernational rhythms and dynamic bass vibrations. Afterward, we hear an unapologetically high energy mix from Atarangi, a Takatāpui Māori interdisciplinary artist and deejay based in Tāmaki Makaurau. -

Malvern Brume is a London-based musician and sound artist. His music, formed through experimentations with electronic instruments, field recordings, amplified objects and voice, has been released on Alter, TakuRoku, Kashual Plastik, and his own imprint Infant Tree. This weekend on FPR, he shares a textured and tonal mix for the first hour. Afterwards, we get weird with FP DJ Gus. -

The series, named 'Aw B B2B', sees her invite a special guest or two to play an all night back-to-back set at the club. This weekend, we share a two hour excerpt from the first event from early June, when Aw B and Hurricane Emily combined forces for the first time.
