I hope they put the statue back up. This isn't right, tearing down statues. The natives of the day took the land from other natives. One sided, liberal propaganda!!! Unsubscribed... Fake freaking news.Read full review »

This podcast is epic. Beautiful and perfectly formed. It tells the stories that need to be told but are overlooked. Wonderful.

How appalling to hear that you condone the destruction of historic artifacts and art, as well as the mob violence in which it’s been carried out. And how ignorant to judge people who lived hundreds of years ago against 21st century social norms. What absolute ignorance.

As the title says, this is the Bugatti of podcasts. Rare, exotic, and pleasing, are some words to describe both the podcast and car. I love this podcast for its interesting topics and facts. Great podcast, keep it up Roman.

I can't believe it took me this long to find this podcast. The unusual topics for each episode and the program length are just perfect. I'm working my way through the archive of episodes, and can't wait for each new one to come out. Even after all this time, it’s great!Read full review »

When this show provides information in an unbiased way it is compelling. A very good episode and examples of good podcasting journalism is the San Francisco Library and also the Automat. An example of total garbage was the episode on suits which I couldn’t get past the first five minutes. In...Read full review »

Literally the closest thing to a perfect podcast that I’ve ever found. I’ve listened to every single podcast, keep up the good work for many more years!

I’ve listened for years, and everything about this podcast is perfect! I love learning about things I’ve never heard of, stopped to consider, or looked at closely. I’m always amazed, and after listening, I somehow feel like a genius with my new info😂 Articles of Interest is fascinating, even...Read full review »

Listening to this podcast feels like finding the name of that particular spice you love (for me, Sage, via breakfast sausage & the holidays). There’s an entire language and thought to design that I inherently sort of understand, being that I interact with it everyday, but that I never had the...Read full review »

So they start a new podcast called Articles of Interest, which is basically a sleep podcast. It is so bad. They ran a few episodes on the 99PI feed and then moved to its own feed, thank god. But now it back. Why? If I wanted to listen to this crime against podcasting, I would have subscribed to...Read full review »

Such an amazing show to reflect a little bit more on design and other objects of the world that we truly miss in the midst of lockdowns and restrictions. If anything, it’s a collection of great stories by some cool people.

I really love 99 PI, the content is fantastic!

This podcast was THE podcast to listen to, now it’s just meh. I’ve stopped listening on a regular basis since the first “articles of interest” aired. Extremely boring. Time to rethink the direction and go back to your roots. The early episodes are awesome. P.S. it’s also turning into 99 Percent...Read full review »

For many reasons, Roman Mars and the 99pi team just keep getting better. They do everything the right way, this little outfit in Oakland, CA. It is everything that is fascinating, peculiar, and amzing about things you probably know very little, if anything, about.

I collect information. All kinds of obscure, mostly unremarkable information. Insatiable curiosity is fundamental to who I am. This podcast feeds my magpie mind that wants to collect all the shiny information. It soothes me, engages me, excites me, and fills me with delight. I’m disabled by...Read full review »

I’ve listened to these for years, and each episode still captures my interest in some manner. The diversity of topics never fails to surprise me and the background work is thoroughly done and lucidly presented. Many thanks to Roman and the crew for so many morning commutes filled with intrigue,...Read full review »

Disgusting gay man vocal fry. You Americans are freaks. This is unlistenable crap.

I really enjoy the 99pi podcasts, but unfortunately I really don’t find the articles of interest episodes interesting to me. Love the podcast but I don’t like how they keep uploading “Articles of Interest” despite it having its own podcast section.

I listen to podcasts all day at work, subscribed to over a dozen channels but by far my favourite is 99PI. These stories about minute aspects of life give a story to many unnoticed parts of our world. The care that has been taken to record the stories is phenomenal and they are always responsible...Read full review »

99% invisible has been a standby podcast for me for some time. I’ve loved Articles of Interest and I’ve just found out that Avery Trufleman is about to leave. It moved me to write something to thank You all for such wonderful stories.

I have been listening to 99PI for about 2 years now and it’s still my favourite podcast. I never miss an episode. Always fresh and often inspiring, I always learn something new. And I LOVE the new Articles of Interest series—please keep making them!

I love the main 99% Invisible podcast, but I am OBSESSED with Articles of Interest. I hope it continues even though the new episodes don’t appear in a separate feed anymore. The second season is superb. More nuanced and longer convos about clothing and fashion. A+

99% PI is a show about design, but it often goes far beyond that. The show has been long running, but in recent months might be in the best shape it's ever been, largely thanks to the deep dives into the fashion industry by Avery Truffleman.
