The Lady Purples defeated the overwhelming favorite Franklin-Simpson Lady Wildcats in the semi-finals and the Todd Co. Lady Rebels in the finals. The Lady Purples will compete in the Girls KHSAA Sweet Sixteen this week with their quest for a state title still not complete. The fight for the 4th Region crown continues with Warren Central looking for their 3rd consecutive Championship, Bowling Green is looking to take back the crown, and Cumberland Co. and Glasgow are looking to start a new era. The Boys completed their quarterfinal matchups for the 4th Region Tournament. The semifinals and finals are taking place this week and will it be the matchup that everyone expected in the finals or will Cumberland Co. and/or Glasgow shock everyone and upset one or both?
