Extreme listening
I love your work Simon! I have been following you and your work for a couple years now. For the most recent podcast, extreme listening, I didn’t find much value from it. It appeared to be a lot of story telling about how bad these group of people are besides this one person. She said a lot of negative things of the group as a whole besides the one individual person, such as “you don’t belong with these people you’re better than them”. This was confusing to me because everyone has their story and if she would talk to everyone the same way she had she would learn that every human has a heart maybe just a corrupt mind. I want to learn more about how to listen to my full capacity and would love an updated version on the steps needed to get there. I would take a look into Jordan Peterson’s work. If he is surrounded by people who agree with him and one person who doesn’t and they say something that contradicts themselves or make them feel lower and the group laughs he will scold the group of followers. He never hates anyone, and always seeks to understand their motives. He is recently out of the hospital and may be willing to come on your podcast. He would be a great addition to your collection of knowledge and I would suggest it to the highest importance. I love your work and will continue to follow it, keep up the great work!
