“Unbelievably poor discussion about NFTs. Can’t work out if those discussing it are genuinely stupid or just trying to con people. The whole discussion was: interviewer: ‘here’s a vague question…’ interviewee: ‘here’s a superficial answer’. Interviewer: ‘that’s SO great. Let’s move on’. So eg the discussion about ownership was basically some analogy that owning the Mona Lisa was still valuable even though people could buy prints of it. But there was no discussion about whether that was a meaningful analogy (which a moments thought shows it’s not). If these people just aren’t so bright, ok fair enough. However It would be nice to know how invested the presenters are in nfts and the extent to which they benefit from people buying into this giant pyramid scheme.”
