My new favorite podcast
I have a professional interest in the tech world, and a personal passion for history. This podcast is the single best example of how those two things go together. Ben and David are fantastic storytellers and I learn so much from every episode. Huge bonus points for how long every episode is. Everyone knows the 30 minute story around the Instagram acquisition or the WeWork failed IPO, but the fact that these episodes are so much longer allows the full picture to really be painted. This feels like the one definitive resource on so many of these stories. The one big piece of advice I would say is to bring in a third host that adds some diversity. The conversation can feel very tech-bro, and I think the show would be a lot better if there was someone else added to the conversation that wasn’t another white VC guy tech-insider type. Keep up the great work guys
