I’ve have the same issue as above. It won’t let me download saying there’s a server issue. Odd that I have to go to the App Store and scroll down to find it and then select podcast I want to listen to. Anyone remedy this yet?

I love this podcast so much and I’ve been learning a lot but all of a sudden there’s a “download error” each time I try to download an episode. I can download all other podcasts just fine so I’m not sure what’s happening here!

A useful podcast.

Joanne and Tim are great hosts that make the podcasts feel less like an interview with the guest and more like you are sitting down with them for tea and getting an informal consultation. I have used ACT in my practice for 20+yrs. and still learn so much from you both. Wonderful work.

just found this app and was in love. educational and a great aid to Tx. the new hosts (new to me) sonja pretentious and exclusionary. they will mention things in convo (youtube videos)without citing and overall leaves listener feeling left out or dumb.

I really value this podcast. They get some really excellent speakers and I find it to be a wonderful learning tool. My criticisms of the podcast would be that I find the presenters’ styles are quite closed (I.e. they don’t model openness and vulnerability) and I find that disappointing as it’s...Read full review »

Lots of awesome guests that I want to hear more from. I am sure the two hosts are great people but they talk too much about themselves at the cost of hearing from the experts. Questions that pull out the different guests expertise would be nice but often we go off on surface level rabbit trails....Read full review »

As a Clinician-this was a great way to be introduced to ACT! I have a supervisee who has been introduced to this in a group format. I work predominantly with children. This podcast allowed me to learn about this without having to purchase the book and be able to keep up with my supervisee! ...Read full review »

The commentators offer philosophical conversations and also spend a lot of time on how they got to be ACT therapists...which can be interesting at times. What I really want is real world scenarios, techniques, and ACT skills to help me grow as an ACT therapist. Maybe I am in the minority, but...Read full review »

Hi! I grew up Mormon my whole life- and I loved the experiences I had and people I was around growing up. When I was 17 I had a sister diagnosed with a definite death disorder, and upon my introspection decided I did not believe in a God, so I left. As someone currently enrolled in FIT to become...Read full review »

As a young therapist this podcast has gone a long way in persuading me of the merits of ACT. After listening through the all 11 episodes and some extra reading I’ve begun to delve into ACT more fully. I have been so intrigued that I’m moving towards adopting ACT as my primary theoretical...Read full review »

Jen and John are a terrific team and demonstrate the consummate balance between knowing so much about ACT to ask really advanced questions, and still being in touch with early learners to ask foundational questions or to have interviewees clarify important concepts. No matter how much you’ve...Read full review »

I've really enjoyed listening to your podcast. Both presenters are well informed in psychology and this has been a really nice way to get an in-depth look into ACT. One small thing that is a bit of a time waster and unessecary is John's tendency to make statements and then ask "am I right?" and...Read full review »

I ran across this podcast when looking for Russ Harris (The Happiness Trap) interviews and ❤ the entire series. The podcast hosts have a balanced, casual style of interviewing, and they allow their guest speakers to dive deep into discussion without rushing through an agenda. Thank you for taking...Read full review »

The earlier episodes, w the Psych student John (apparently a resident podcaster), requires the listener to practice the very behavior the experts are sharing about, acceptance and tolerance. I've only listened to the early episodes (up to 4) and thus far it's well worth the effort. I am...Read full review »

Content is great. Love listening. John is a teensy bit too loud. Gotta turn it up to hear the guests then my ears break when John talks. Love everything else! Very informative.
