“Nice easy listen podcast and I love hearing from the well-informed people in the industry such as growers, roasters.
What for me is making it hard on the ears is the insistence on the little bits of incidental piano music that don’t seem to have any purpose but get used to seemingly brighten up the verbal discussions. I really don’t need this, stick to letting us hear what the participants have to say and that should be all. It’s like a naff piano bar where every so often someone sits at the ivories for a random tinkle with the volume loud enough to make you break off from your meal or drink to wonder “Why the heck is someone allowed to play on the keyboard”. The episodes are short enough that we can listen to people speaking without needing some other noises.”
