One of the biggest mistakes I see people making as a physical therapist is only focusing on the painful joint. For example, when dealing with knee pain- most people only do localized exercises for the knee- ignoring the rest of the body. Just told a week or so ago had an x-ray of my hip/pelvic area and was told i have severe osteoarthritis. I had the x-ray because i do have pain. love your podcast. it is just what i needed while i try to figure out my life after that x-ray. thank you

52 yo with left hip arthritis. I really connect with this show and just hearing other peoples stories gives me hope. I use a saddle chair when working at the computer. That has been. Game changer for me. Strengthening the core and leg muscles also very helpful for me. Thank you everyone!!
