Brings it all Back
I’m not strictly metal. In fact, my middle to later teen years (up to present day) have been steeped in the punk movement and weirdly enough, Canadian rock. But I would have never taken that direction without first having a love for metal. This podcast brings back so many memories and has urged me to dust off the old metal vinyl for some listening pleasure. Dio, Maiden, (early) Crew. I’m rediscovering! Who knows… I might even take a cruise😏.

Parallel Soul Mates!
Tina & Erika are not only the same age as me, they are small town chicks who adore everything hair metal just like me! Our teen years of angst & longing were parallel as we were spoon fed articles & music releases back in the day. I feel like us Sunset Strip wannabe babes are species, a cult, a club! I hope more of us glam fans find each other through this podcast and unite in solidarity.
Impressive knowledge | Nostalgic Vibes | (dare I say) Nothin’ But a Good Time
I’m a little late to the party, but making my way through Tina and Erika’s backlog of episodes. I absolutely love hearing these two discuss IN DETAIL every topic related and near 80s metal. To me, this is a topic of immense interest HOWEVER to hear two totally cool women discussing this with the depth of knowledge and passion is an absolute treat. I think what is most respectable in listening to them is the fact that they don’t always 100% agree, however they completely respect each other’s position. Great stuff; highly recommend.
