Czerwony Salut (Red Salute)
By the almighty, how has this not received a review by now. Okay so let’s just get to the nitty gritty then (I so have to spread this around). I must preface on my part that I have only recently found this (thanks RevLeftRadio!) and only began consuming the content here. The preface section (§): I like the context you give into each work. It just gives it a breath of air into the polemics AK had to deal with at the time. More-so, allowing the listeners to understand her points and be able to relate to their current situation. Just doing a lovely job on that. The reading §: I must say that the reading is sharp, crisp, clear and audible. I usually can run this in the background of whatever else I have to work on. And just hearing basically an unpaid audio-book read out to me feels nice... albeit I do feel a bit queasy that you have to do this out of your pocket. Who knows, maybe you are getting compensated for this? But I do wanna end this on saying thankful for making this public. Interview §: That first interview was just AWESOME! And while I can’t a hundred percent relate to your daughter, I very much sympathize. Seeing how Social Media definitely has basically emulated the conversational sphere, reinforced the “Individualist” Competitive ideology in subtle ways and very much has make a market from selling information. That truly is banal (can we change the definition into how it is used publicly instead of being a synonym for boring) and glad the generational gap has been transcended in many ways. So hope to see more episodes and more comrades checking into this podcast, this needs to be signal boosted wide and far! Comradely love and a Czerwony Salut, Victor
