My favorite podcaster for the last 10 years!
It’s hard to describe this show because of how unique and personal it is. I mean the title says it all— Alison’s show really makes you feel like you’re a part of her life and gang, and is always open to bringing us along for the ride. To me, this show is the Seinfeld of podcasts, in that in a beautiful and hilarious way, is a show about nothing and everything all at once! I think some people might feel alienated if they start listening at a random episode because of the inside jokes and long histories between the guests, but to me, some of the best podcasts are like that— where us outsiders get to listen in on close friendships and their organic and candid conversations.. which I loooove.
To me, if you’re just getting started, I highly recommend the episode where her husband Daniel Quantz makes his first appearance on the show back in 2014.. it’s a great place to get to know her inner circle and rhythm of the show. Not to discount previous episodes though, because those were equally hilarious and an enjoyable listen!
Thank you Alison for being in our ears, for your candid thoughts, and for being so open and honest about this life. You are my favorite podcast 😊
