This is the equivalent of the snake in the garden
As I get further into this podcast I realize more and more what an insidious thing it is. From the initial thought that there are multiple ‘gods’ that were assigned to rule different communities in the world things just spiral in the desire for the Bible to fit with the modern progressive, ‘woke’ness. If you start with a small twist to the truth it has a larger knock on effect. The snake in the garden asked “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree of the garden’?” Just like the snake this podcast sows doubts about what God said. From calling into question the great commission to questioning the accuracy of the Bible it’s all about confusion and doubt. The gospel does not require a theological degree to understand. It’s simple and beautiful, in it’s simplicity. God loved man and didn’t want to be separated from him. He came to die to take the thing that separates us from Him so we can be with him. But we have to give that thing to him to deal with and not hold onto it. My advice is that if you want to know who God is and understand what he wants for you in your life read the Bible after asking the Holy Spirit for guidance. Don’t listen to this podcast.

With logic, critical thinking and curiousity, while attempting to account for the multiple contexts of time, place, cultures and languages that pertain, Nate and Tim are prying open the pages of the good BOOK with a crowbar wrapped in velvet. They are after the inconsistencies and seeming...Read full review »
