Well, if the podcast's title didn't tip you off......
There's a reason why this show is called ALMOST heretical. While much of what you might hear on this podcast isn't in the mainstream of evangelical/fundamentalist thinking, it is not exactly "heretical" either. This show is about learned and informed interpretations that you might not have considered before. Did God stop revealing himself and working to improve the faith somewhere along the way? There have been many eras where the faith took a turn that traditionalists have no problem with (395 AD, the Reformation, The Great Awakening, to name a few). But woe to contemporary thinkers who might see things differently from the mainstream. If you believe you already understand the Bible "as it is written" and only want to hear interpretations that fit your worldview, then this isn't the show for you. If you believe God is still revealing himself and working in the world, then this IS the show for you.Read full review »
