    94. Allie's Exam Failure

In this episode, Allie spills the tea on how she failed her clinical licensure exam the first time around. She hilariously recounts the reasons behind her delay in taking the exam and the absurd challenges she faced during the process, including *spoiler alert* accidentally sitting for the wrong exam. In all seriousness, we hope that this episode normalizes how challenging our exams can be and that sometimes we fail, but it doesn't mean the end of our careers.

Great but..

Helpful content, but it feels like half of it is ads.

Whew!

I’d give a million stars if I could. I don’t mean to be a weirdo, but I’ve struggled with and overcome a lot in life and as I navigated my internship, I constantly felt like I was diffusing a bomb. Although I’ve never encountered a specific situation to wonder if I’m a “bad therapist”, I just simply thought I was. I actually had a heart attack about 6 months ago and withdrew from school. I’m on my second semester of break because of feeling absolutely frozen in fear and being burnout and exhausted. Listening to this podcast normalizes so many mistakes I feared making. I’m actually ready to go back! I appreciate this so much! You have no idea how life-changing this has been for me. Thank you!!!!!

Am I a Bad Therapist?' is a valuable podcast that somewhat explores the challenges therapists encounter, offering a supportive space for self-reflection. While providing insightful content I feel like frequency of ads and repeated promotions distracting. Certain episodes are particularly beneficial for therapists at the beginning of their careers, but others may feel repetitive. Overall, the podcast serves as a valuable resource for therapists looking to enhance their skills and self-awareness, with room for improvement in balancing advertising and diversifying content.
