He's come a long way baby from bass player in the Housemartins, fronting Beats International (remember 'Dub Be Good To Me'?) and Freak Power, Pizzaman & Mighty Dub Katz. Best known though as the globe-trotting DJ, Producer & Remixer, Fatboy Slim.

He brought you MTV's Alternative Nation, The Big Picture & MTV Live (later TRL.) He travelled the globe for Lonely Planet & Rough Guide, made the highly-acclaimed King Crimson movie as well as 'The Man Who's Mind Exploded.' Next to this, he creates dance music, shell art & gardening shows. Yes, it's the multi-talented Mr. Toby Amies.

Simone talks to Kristian R. Hill and Jennifer Washington - the director and producer of the 'God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines' - a movie about the history and legacy of Detroit techno. They also revisit the MTV Party Zone filmed in Detroit in 1997 which featured more than 30 of the techno legends; Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, Kelli Hand, Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Juan Atkins and many more.

Meet the man who started a small demonstration on the streets of Berlin in 1989 which ended up becoming the biggest street party on earth. The emphasis of this episode is not the heartbreaking disaster in 2010 (when Dr. Motte was no longer involved in the Love Parade), but instead goes back further in time to the days before the Love Parade brand got sold; the days of the original Berlin Love Parade. And it focuses on the new Berlin street event - Rave the Planet - which will take place on July the 9th, 2022.
