Wish they would try harder
Lately they have started relying heavily on just pulling old notes from live shows past and reading them on the podcast again. I’m fine with using the stories from live shows but maybe they could take an hour or two to read through them, look at the sources again, and learn the story really well again. As it stands they often seem to just be reading notes they haven’t looked at in months and you can really tell. They seem surprised and confused by things written in their own notes and it just sounds lazy and isn’t as engaging as when they take the time to do the research right before recording.
