An Exemplary Example of Vegan Activism
As vegans, and as creatures whose voices are acknowledged (where other animals' are not), we have a responsibility to know the extent of our carnist indoctrination beyond our dietary habits. Language is the heart of the people. If we claim to have animals at heart, then, shouldn't our language reflect it? That starts with awareness, which Mrs. Colleen has taken time and energy to give us. Everything we learn could be the thing that finally convinces someone to make the connection and go vegan. Thank you, Mrs. Colleen, for sharing your time and energy to develop and inspire more vegan journeys, and doing so in an interesting, entertaining and accessible way. ☆

Who knew that so many words come from animals either directly or indirect. As much as the food idustry would like to seperate us from animals we are intwinded. Hopefully this pod cast will help make the connection between us and them....
