Language Is Powerful
I love Colleen's original podcast, Food for Thought, so much. It was exactly what I needed when I started thinking about moving into a life that minimizes suffering for all sentient beings. In addition to Colleen's wonderful, comprehensive way of looking at the world through vegan eyes, and her ability to teach about every angle of a compassionate life, she is also an Anglophile and English major who understands and appreciates the origins of, and the power of, words. This new podcast is a fascinating look at words and how they relate to and are often derived from animal origins. Words in any language say a lot about the cultures that developed around them and in their company. I will listen through each one of these podcasts, and then return to listen again to make sure I have grasped every nuance.

Everything from Colleen is top notch and this podcast is no different. I'm obsessed with etymology and animals, so I think I just died and went to heaven.
