Well done...
The readers in this dramatic reading are, in general, quite good for a Librivox recording. It's a Canadian story, beloved by adults and children; painting an enchanting picture of early 20th century life in Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. The book largely examines the perspective of orphan Anne Shirley, adopted by siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, though it takes Marilla and Matthew's perspective at times. Definitely one of the books anyone looking to be well-read should listen to.

This is great, except Diana's voice is way too old! She sounds older than Marilla & Rachel Linde.Read full review »

What is that voice?! Gilbert is a little off, too. Like someone is trying to do Jonathan Crombie.
