This podcast talks about so many things worth talking about and sheds light on things people may not have understood clearly before in an approachable manner (pun intended). I love these two amazing ladies who have created not only a fun, entertaining podcast but also one that educates you so...Read full review »

I’ve been a listener since season one of approachable and this has easily become my favourite podcast to listen to.

I loved approachable and was so excited when Alyssa was taking it over as a true crime podcast. Listening to Alyssa tell these stories is like listening to a friend. She knows when to insert her opinion and when to remain biased and it’s really refreshing. Her personality really shines through...Read full review »

I absolutely love true crime podcasts, a lot of them are super polished and professional with a team of writers/producers. This is not one of those podcasts, but in the best way possible. Alyssa makes you feel like you’re one of her close friends and she’s telling you about a case that really...Read full review »

I am LOVING this podcast! I’ve been around from the beginning and have always been a fan!! The stories for the last couple months have been stories I’ve never heard and super interesting! Love it!!

When I found out approachable was turning into a true crime podcast I was initially disappointed since I don’t usually like that stuff but this is different! Alyssa’s attention to detail and in-depth research makes me feel like I’m in the scene, if ya know what I mean. And one of the main reasons...Read full review »

I love true crime so I thought I would like this but no. I listened to all of approachable and a couple episodes of approached. Didnt like the change. It would be wayyyy better if she was more prepared and had notes. I think it was the Amanda Knox or I’m not sure what episode she said that she...Read full review »

I like this new podcast but I really hope cases that aren’t so widely known and already covered many times will be covered in the future.

Great job to Alyssa for successfully pivoting the podcast to true crime. I’ve enjoyed your take on some stories I knew a bit about from the news. Excited to listen to part 2 on Amanda Knox.

First of all how dare you leave me on a cliff hanger like that 😭, second of all I love it and will definitely be back next week to listen. I’ve been listening to approachable. since you guys announced it’s start. I was curious to see what you’d do with approached. I love it so far. I liked how...Read full review »

Loved approachable so I was excited to listen to this one. However so far all these cases have been so over done on other podcasts, I have no interest in listening to them for the 100th time. I’d love some cases that aren’t so well known, or unsolved cases that don’t get enough attention and need...Read full review »

Big fan of the new podcast but I think it needs a bit more fact checking. Travis Alexander was born in 77 not 97

I LOVED approachable but I’m just as big a fan of approached! So excited to be on this journey with Alyssa and see the cases she covers!

I admire Alyssa for going out and continuing the pod solo, and the first ep was interesting just told in a way that didn’t give the story justice, or keep me actually interested. Maybe Alyssa’s style of storytelling is best done as a visual medium, with pictures and cues and indicators to keep...Read full review »

I really enjoyed Alyssa’s debut podcast for Approach! Her diligent research from previous episodes really shined into this one, and I appreciate her dynamic storytelling and humorous commentary. I cannot wait to see what Alyssa will do next!💗

Approachable was great, I loved the interaction between Alyssa and Sam. BUT Alyssa is going to kill it on approached by herself! The first episode was great! I’ve never heard the story of Anna Delvey & Alyssa explained it so well, I couldn’t stop listening.

Can’t wait to hear more episodes this might take the top spot in my true crime pods list!!! So excited !!!

I’m sad about Sam leaving the podcast (but of course understand). I really liked the first solo episode with Alyssa, Anna Delvey’s story is so interesting.

I’ve been listening from episode one, and have enjoyed most episodes, have really enjoyed hearing the different points of view, however the amount of times Alyssa says “do you know what I mean?” Drives me up the wall lol; does the question need to be posed multiple times especially when you don’t...Read full review »

First off, I LOVE Alyssa and Sam. I think this show is overall very well organized without it feeling stuffy or boring. You are two very intelligent, well rounded and charismatic women. I love listening to you talk and learn new things together. But please, for the love of dogs, find something else to say than “stuff like that” when describing literally anything at all.

I was very scared of child birth as well. Part of what helped me personally was watching a million YT videos about it (labor & delivery vlogs mostly) so I knew what to expect. It turned out being very easy and manageable ❤️ good luck, Sam!!!

I adore listening to Alyssa and Sam (and Guest Star Matt) discuss a wide variety of topics. Their natural curiosity is infectious. The podcasts are well researched and the topics are approached with sensitivity and respect. Worth a listen!!

Very rarely do I tune into a podcast, but my job lets me have headphones in and I make it a habit to start things over from the beginning so I started this podcast over from episode 1 and I’m already on season three in two days. Alyssa clearly isn’t well educated on a lot of subjects in the same way Sam is & it shows. While they occasionally can be fun to listen to, their “educational” bits need to be taken with a big grain of salt. Alyssa constantly references how her viewpoint is informed by something she learned...Read full review »

Super entertaining and good to listen to anytime. Even if I’m not already interested in the topic of an episode, the podcast makes it interesting, particularly the episodes with professionals as guests!

I love this podcast so much. Sam and Alyssa feel like older sisters to me and it’s very comforting for me to listen to! Giving a 4 star for Samantha. I relate with her opinions on topics and her individuality. I like the way she conveys her thoughts. I’m a little late to the party but approachable is by far the best podcast I have ever listened to. Alyssa and Sam are insightful, funny, and, well, approachable. They’re candid and are able to make sensitive and vulnerable topics entertaining to listen to. 10/10
