“I've been listening to you guys since the pandemic- you were the first podcast I was pulled into faithfully and I've loved most of what I've heard since!
Your podcast really kept me company in my first maternity leave which was still in the Covid era of all the back and forth of limited social interaction. I listened to at least one show a day at the time while I was walking with my new baby and it gave me some mental stimulation in a time when life felt really isolating and lonely. Baby number two- same thing! Now I'm back to work and I've started keeping one ear bud in while I'm with patients (I'm a dental hygienist) and I basically listen all day every day (I'm going back through the archives listening to older ones not yes listened to as also older ones I haven't heard yet). I love Armchair Expert the BEST but I've gotten into Synced (I won't lie, I thought it was pointless at first but I've actually come to really enjoy the lighthearted relationship and chatty-ness between Liz and Monica - two young kids leaves me with little girl-time so you guys are my girl talk besties now unbeknownst to you!). I've lately really enjoyed a lot of the Armchair Anonymous (some people have some crazy stories to tell!) and David... oh David. Who doesn't love David? 🤍
Of course there could be things to critique. I've read previous reviews saying Dax can be inappropriate or Monica can seem entitled or know-it-all ... but ok, if that's how you feel don't listen 🤷🏻♀️ Dax has a personality of a jokester so buckle up for that, and Monica is a voice of reason (yes a lot of the time she's pretty strong on her opinion and doesn't change it but wouldn't it be so burning to just listen to them continuously agree over everything? ).
Personally, I love you guys and I'm so happy this is successful because I love listening to you guys and hope to for a long time to come!
