As I listen to this almost religiously, the more my appreciation grows and viewpoint has changed from one of... “Who cares about celebrity’s challenges” to realize this is a brilliant way to utilize the familiarity of celebrity in an increasingly less truly personally connected world. Sadly, people know more about celebrities than their neighbors and even family. This podcast does a brilliant job of personalizing the guests to the point where you almost forget you are listening to celebrities, and truly using their familiarity to educate on very important issues. A simple, yet so effective way to enlighten the average person on current cultural issues, addiction, abuse, mental health, feminism, masculinity, parenthood, challenging political and religious beliefs, open mindedness. Access to some very complex issues and incredibly intellectual guests through Experts on Expert reach an audience who may have never explored such culture, myself included. I have learned and applied more in my life in 2 years of listening to this podcast, and the other shows and writings it has introduced, than any other cultural force. For that, I thank you.
