“Crime Junkie was the first crime podcast I ever listened to. I was hooked from the very first episode! A few months ago I started listening to Jake Brennan’s podcasts. He is a phenomenal story teller with a voice made for podcasts. His usual style combines thrilling storytelling with great research which developing characters you feel like you know. I was so excited to this collab but the first two episodes have been very underwhelming and disappointing. I miss the great intros, excitement, energy and plot development that Jake usually puts into his work. This feels dry and dull by comparison. Really hoping that the series improves as it continues!”

“Well researched and well written. But the narration is so fast and unmodulated that it’s hard to pay attention after a little while. Too bad because it’s great content. It’s exciting but the narrator’s delivery makes it dull. Slow down so we can process the story.”
