“Great football analysis, delivered with levity. Fairly easy to follow if you’re not a hardcore stat-head, though I wish they explained concepts more.
If you’re unfamiliar with the host, an explanation of the negative reviews- Around the NFL was a show with a host that inspired a little cult of personality. That host got let go, and so all these weirdos feel they have to smite the show that replaced Around the NFL. You’re not going to get a ton of honesty out of them.
So if you want some good faith criticisms of the show, here we go: Too many episodes. A daily format might have been fine if episodes were brief, but 45 minutes is about as short as they get, with many episodes pushing towards 90 minutes. It’s a lot to keep up with. But if you’re at a stage where you’re ravenously absorbing the sport, this show is serving you a lot better than most of the TV content out there.”
