Entertaining Enough
The first season was definitely the better one. However, it didn’t seem like much effort was made to write period dialog. Other than the main character’s vulgarity, the dialog didn’t sound particularly 1940s. The writing seemed to get sloppier as the series progressed. There are so many side plots that the whole thing gets convoluted.

This show is beautifully produced and acted. Only two episodes in and thoroughly enjoying it!

Time travel basically causing a mess all over the place. Although it might be a bit more slice-of-life than the rest of the mystery podcasts I recommend, this one's definitely worth the occasional sidetrack.Read full review »
