Making Your Own Luck [207]

Description
Have you ever been worked really hard at something and then been told you were lucky to have it? This week, we're diving into the topic of luck - how much of what happens to us is simply good (or bad) fortune, and how much is within our control? Last week, guest artist Faye Bridgwater talked about the importance of being your own champion. This week we're following up and exploring this idea of making your own luck. Is any successful person there by luck alone? Do "lucky" people get away with never having to work hard? And how much of what we see in others is true and how much is simply our own projection? We also touch on the idea of privilege, and on the importance of being honest about our own choices. We all have things we'd like to change - maybe this episode will help turn envy into action, or help you spot places where you are holding yourself back from creating your own "lucky" situations!
