    Fertility Q&A- Miscarriage Part 2

Dr. Natalie Crawford answers voicemail questions about miscarriage. Miscarriage is so hard and something Dr. Crawford has experienced herself. Understanding when you should seek help and what that help should look like can be so advantageous as you try to advocate for yourself.
    Questions answered:

I had a miscarriage at around 6 weeks after my first IVF transfer. Is it normal to experience some spotting while waiting for my next period.

I had a miscarriage after my first pregnancy. Could my PCOS have played a role in the loss?

    Fertility Q&A - Ovulation Part 2

    Fertility Q&A - Ovulation Part 2

Dr. Natalie Crawford answers your voicemail questions about ovulation and ovulation induction. If you do not understand how ovulation works, it's hard to know when things are normal and most importantly when they are abnormal. It also hard to know when your periods are normal or abnormal and what treatments work or don't work for you.
    Questions answered:

I just did my first round of Letrozole and I typically ovulate around day 15 and got a positive ovulation test around day 9. Is this normal?

What is the purpose of using Letrozole to boost ovulation? Does Letrozole work for luteal phase deficiency? How many cycles should I do?

At my monitoring appointment for medicated IUI, I was told my 25mm follicle was likely too mature. Did I trigger too late?

Alyssa-Fibroids & Fertility ,

Fertility explained!

I love listening to Dr Crawford’s podcast. She’s such a great speaker and really breaks down fertility, hormones, and everything that happens in a fertility center in a way that’s so easy to understand.

One of the best parts is how she “brings the receipts”. She talks about evidence based medicine, current research articles and dispels misconceptions in a way that shows she really cares.

Loving it!

Liz Stadel ,

Unknowledgeable about true Fertility based methods

I listened to the Ovulation and Charting episode and was very disappointed. Though she is good at teaching and presenting information, it’s unfortunate she didn’t talk about the most effective FBAM such as; Creighton, Billings, and Marquette for tracking cycles. It’s also very heart breaking to hear her say that she doesn’t support giving progesterone to prevent miscarriage. My mother used progesterone for all 6 of her children and we are very healthy. Many close family and friends have benefited from this NaPro technology as well.

Courage to Advocate for Myself!

I started listening to Dr. Natalie on YouTube about 6 months ago desperately searching for answers after suffering with severe period and pelvic pain from the time I was 14 years old. Listening and learning from her videos gave me the courage to seek out a specialist who specialized in endometriosis to start taking control of my pain and fertility. Finished step one of surgery officially diagnosing me with stage 4 (but no endometrioma *yay*) and now moving on to REI for family planning options. I’d never have had the knowledge of what to ask for or the courage to advocate for myself with out this information. Thank you thank you thank you!
