“The past few years I have been questioning a lot about my faith. I grew up in a similar background of a conservative Christian background that did not allow a lot of questioning. I have had a lot of struggles with how to interpret the Bible in the new light of my beliefs such as Genesis and proven science of evolution. While I am still in the process of figuring out what I believe, this has helped align some of my issues. I am struggling with the idea of becoming a “cherry picking Christian” and picking out what I believe and leaving what I do not believe. While I am still leaning heavily towards being an atheist, this podcast does offer some possible answers to issues that I have been dealing with (like OT genocide, evolution vs creation). I am half through the past episodes and have recommended it to a few people that are in the same boat I am. I appreciate the open atmosphere of being able to send questions that are typically not answered by conservative Christians. The open air question and answer formate is a great way of talking about these topics. Thanks for your thoughts that you have Mike!”
