“After 16 episodes (over 8 months) I feel the podcast is still trying to its feet. So far episodes can split into two different types; interviews with people who’ve had supernatural/paranormal experiences and episodes discussing established stories.
While most those interviewed in the interview style episodes are friends or friends of friends of the presenters, they are moving away from this now that they have a growing listenership. The interview episodes are the better episodes. The highlight of the podcast so far is The Laughing Indian episode which gave me the chills!
As a note, when interviewees are recounting stories the podcast does use incidental music and sound effects to add atmosphere. So might find this distracting.
The episodes discussing establishing stories don’t really offer anything new or massively insightful for those already interested in this subject matter, but I still enjoy hearing these stories recounted.
The presenters come across well and the production levels are good.
This isn’t a skeptical podcast, but neither is it a straight up “believer” podcast. There isn’t really any in-depth analysis of the stories told, but that isn’t really what the podcast is about – it is about getting the stories told.”
