නව තාක්ෂණික නිපැයුම් වලින් ලොව ජයගත් ව්‍යවසායකයෙකු වන ආදී නාලන්දීය බිමන් ලියනගේ සමග සංවාදය. චීනයේ Beihang විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ වැඩිදුර අධ්‍යාපනය ලබා නව නිපැයුම් ක්ෂේත්‍රයට යොමු වී තාක්ෂණික පැළඳුම් (wearable tech) අංශයේ නව නිපැයුම් බොහෝ ගණනක් ලොවට හඳුන්වා දීමට මෙන්ම ඒවා වාණිජ මට්ටමෙන් නිපදවීමට Startup ගණනාවක් ආරම්භ කර ඇති බිමන් මෙම සංවාදයේදී නව නිපැයුම් කරුවන්ට වැදගත් වන  කරුණු රැසක් ගැන කතා කරයි.  

Conversation with Old-Nalandiya Biman Liyanage, a world-renowned entrepreneur of new technological inventions. After further education at Beihang University in China and focusing on the field of innovation, Biman, who has started a number of startups to introduce a wide range of wearable tech innovations to the world, talks about a number of issues that are important to inventors.

Today we talk with Dr. Prasanga Mantilaka, a senior Lecturer and postgraduate supervisor at the Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS), University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He was a Senior Research Scientist and leader of the advanced materials research area of Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) before. His major research area is the synthesis of nanomaterials for industrial, environmental, and medical applications using cheap raw materials including naturally occurring minerals such as dolomite, calcite, apatite, ilmenite, monazite, iron-bearing minerals, zircon, and graphite. So far, he has developed many novel simple, and economical techniques to synthesize nanomaterials for various applications. He is also working on the fabrication of nano-architectured super-hydrophobic and oil-repellent surfaces.

Today we talk with Mr. Janaka Adassuriya, a research scientist at the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. We discuss current research that is undertaken at the institute such as stellar seismology, exoplanets, solar radio burst observations, etc., and how the institute plays a role in the popularization of astronomy among school students and the public. Also, we focus on how the school and university students can collaborate with ACCIMT to carry out astronomy related projects.

Today we talk with the prominent Sri Lankan scientist Prof. Chandima Gomes, who is the director at the Center for Excellence in High Voltage Engineering at the Wits University, Johannesburg, South Africa. He sheds light on many aspects of scientific research in Sri Lanka.

Today we talk with Dr. Ruchira Somaweera who is an evolutionary biologist at CSIRO in Australia. He is a herpetologist specialized in crocodiles and sea snakes. He is the host of the  @National Geographic series "Snakes" and contributes to many TV programs. His youtube channel @Zootopica discusses reptiles and also sheds light on myths and misconceptions about animals in Sri Lankan society. He also manages a nature expedition company "Aaranya" that enables people to join his field works carried out in many countries.
