Out of this world
This is a perfect accompaniment to my own interest in the wider universe and delves into the where and why for around the whole subject of life in the universe and our place within it. Richards’ enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject matter is obviously evident, and is a perfect cap-off for the other lectures (161 and 162) which cover the grand scheme of things from year dot to present. Perfect to listen to whilst embarking on my daily walk, and you can almost imagine yourself in amongst the students in the lecture hall.

As always, these podcasts are the best of their kind. I've learnt so much from Richard Pogee from this and his other lectures. I highly recommend them to anyone with an interest in astronomy. Many thanks.Read full review »

Love these lectures! Please, professor - can we get an update on this class? I’d love to see you incorporate the learnings from JWST, as well as all the new exoplanets we’ve found since 2009.
