“Anna and Lily lead quite comfortable lives in England. They’re white, they’re university educated and they’re financially stable. These women have very, very limited life experience as they’ve not experienced anything outside of their bubble, they’ve never lived anywhere but their hometown or the city they studied in. Their ways of life are by no means superficial, but one dimensional in terms of diversity and variety.
However, if you’re tuning in to listen to the life experiences of women in their thirties, you’re not going to hear much but a very limited, very narrow perspective point of view. Their experiences reflect a very small minority of women around the world and even though it may appeal to some, many will not identify with them.
I am pretty sure they themselves are aware of this but as it is not their own faults, they can’t do much about it but try to find some substance in said experiences. They tend to complain about many things many would view as a luxury. They’re ignorant at worst and tone-deaf at best.
This podcast is not worth your time.”
