I was really hopeful that the 4 week break would inspire a shake up, but I’m afraid we’re just getting the same wedding/uni/non-advice advice/ renovation content we have heard here before and also seen on YouTube and Instagram. I feel like Anna and Lily have an opportunity to really challenge themselves and dig into some deeper/harder topics. Invite different people on, read a book and discuss it, just something which involves a bit more research and effort. I think this set out to be in the same vein as The High Low but is ultimately just a giggly chat with a friend with some ads in between, which in all fairness could be done on their other platforms. Edited at a later to date to reduce to one star and to add- I actually feel like they are trolling us now. The more reviews asking for something fresh and a bit more challenging... the more they lean in to the vapid Q&A’s and juicy (really not juicy) secrets and the retelling of the same stories we’ve heard on every platform for the past few years! I’ve taken it down to 1 star.
