More perspective
There are many listeners who found this podcast because the Church wasn’t really “working” for them, not me. Someone posted a quote from them on Instagram that I thought was insightful, so I checked them out. I have so enjoyed listening to Susan and Cynthia. I have found that recognizing the struggles of others (especially when they are not something I personally struggle with) is essential in being a true follower of Jesus Christ. If you think this podcast “tears down” the Church then you aren’t really listening. Do they discuss the hard issues that get glossed over at church, yes! And it’s so refreshing. I have found my perspective widening , my heart opening , my mind inquiring, and my life changing. Susan and Cynthia put in the hard work for every subject they discuss. They share experiences, quotes and information from many well researched sources. They know their stuff. They have wonderful women guests who also share their experiences and perspectives. Will you find yourself thinking: can we talk about that? is it ok to question that? do I have permission to that differently? Yes, you will. I think we need to. It is so great that, at last she said it.

Once you see certain things, they can’t be unseen. These two say the things that need to be said but they do it in a way that invites thought and discussion. It’s my favorite podcast.
