Yes! Yes! Yes!
This podcast has helped me feel like I can stay in the Church of Jesus Christ with my nuanced views! I just wanted to say thank you so much for your thoughts, your words, and being brave enough to say the things that so many of us feel. I’ve been in what I’d call a faith crisis for the last couple of years as I’ve dealt with my struggles with the patriarchal system that the church functions in, the teachings on our LGBTQ brothers and sisters, the history of polygamy and racism, etc. I’ve often struggled to feel that I can stay in the church when my heart feels in such contrast to these subjects and teachings. I have often felt that there aren’t many that struggle as I do, but you both have made me feel that I can stay, that there are others that feel as I do that are still actively participating so maybe I can too. Thank you! Thank you!
